Englewood Hospital will host three screenings of The Birth of Bloodless: The Englewood Experience, a one-hour documentary film that chronicles the 25-year history of our bloodless medicine program.
These screenings are open to medical staff and employees (not open to the public).

Over the past three years, The Institute for Patient Blood Management and Bloodless Medicine and Surgery at Englewood Hospital has been producing this documentary of the program—tracing its roots from its humble beginnings to its current reputation as the model for patient blood management programs throughout the world.
After untold hours of filming at the hospital and other institutions and editing, the movie, The Birth of Bloodless, The Englewood Experience was produced. Original directors of the Bloodless Institute such as Dr. Aryeh Shander, Dr. Herbert Dardik, and Dr. Francis Forte were featured in the film as well as other bloodless physicians including Dr. David Feldman, Dr. Richard Goldweit, Dr. Adam Arnofsky, Dr. Robert Malovany, Dr. Richard D’Amico, Dr. Mark Jaffe, Dr. Miguel Sanchez, Dr. Abe Steinberger, Dr. Lee Eisenberg, Dr. Nate Lebowitz, and Dr. Nimesh Nagarsheth. Others featured in the film included Sharon Roche, APN, and Tom Greco, former VP.
